  1. As a certified coach in the Somatic Activated Healing (SAH) MethodTM, it is essential to recognize your responsibility in supporting your students' practice of this modality. Your role involves facilitating a safe and nurturing environment that allows your students to engage with the SAH MethodTM and explore its potential to promote healing and wellbeing. Through your guidance, your students will develop the necessary skills and understanding to fully utilize the SAH MethodTM and integrate it into their lives. It is important to approach your coaching with a deep respect for the SAH MethodTM and a commitment to upholding its principles and values.

  1. As a coach in the Somatic Activated Healing (SAH) MethodTM, it is important to understand that your role is not that of a counselor for your students. Rather, your primary responsibility is to create a safe and non-judgmental space for them to express themselves, their feelings, and their concerns. While it is appropriate to offer feedback on moves or provide encouragement related to instruction, please refrain from offering unsolicited personal advice or guidance unless it is relevant to the SAH MethodTM. As a coach, it is important to maintain a professional and respectful relationship with your students while honoring the boundaries of your role within the SAH MethodTM.

  1. As a graduating student in the Somatic Activated Healing (SAH) method, it is important to recognize that you have the freedom to create your own unique expression of this powerful healing modality. However, it is crucial to acknowledge that what you are teaching is not solely your own material, but a part of the SAH MethodTM. Therefore, it is important to give credit to all the language and techniques you have learned throughout your training. If you wish to create your own method in the future, it is necessary to credit the SAH MethodTM for the techniques, language, and philosophy that you have learned. Additionally, it is important to keep in mind that the SAH MethodTM is intellectual property and should always be credited accordingly. By acknowledging the origin of the techniques and concepts you are using, you are not only honoring the SAH MethodTM, but also giving your students a clear understanding of the source and context of the knowledge you are sharing.

  1. As a professional coach in the Somatic Activated Healing (SAH) MethodTM, you acknowledge and agree to protect client confidentiality at all times. This means that any information shared by your clients during coaching sessions or in any other context should be kept confidential unless required by law or authorized by the client. Additionally, you understand that it is your responsibility to obtain personal liability insurance at your discretion to ensure that you are adequately protected as a professional coach. By prioritizing client confidentiality and securing appropriate insurance, you can help to ensure that your coaching practice is conducted in a responsible and ethical manner.

  1. As a graduate of the Somatic Activated Healing (SAH) MethodTM training, it is important to use SMTT-approved terminology when promoting your work or anything related to this training. This includes using the appropriate title to accurately represent your qualifications and training. By using the approved terminology, you are not only ensuring clarity and consistency, but also upholding the integrity of the SAH MethodTM and its associated training program. Upon completion of the Somatic Activated Healing (SAH) MethodTM training and certification, you are entitled to use the following professional titles in your work and promotional materials:
  1. Somatic Activated HealingTM (or SAH MethodTM) Coach (or Teacher)
  2. Somatic Activated Healer
  3. Movement Healer
  4. Spiritual Dance Teacher/Coach
  5. Spiritual Workout Teacher/Coach
  6. Please note that the title "Somatic Healer" is not permitted and must include the word "Activated" in accordance with SMTT-approved terminology. By using these titles, you are accurately representing your qualifications and training while also upholding the integrity of the SAH MethodTM and its associated training program.

  1. As a certified coach in the Somatic Activated Healing (SAH) MethodTM, you agree to use the SAH MethodTM name and trademark in all promotions related to this modality. This includes respecting the ownership of the SAH MethodTM and refraining from any actions that may discredit the brand or its associated training program. By using the SAH MethodTM name and trademark in a responsible and respectful manner, you can help to ensure that the integrity of the SAH MethodTM is maintained and that clients and potential students have a clear understanding of the source and context of your work.

  1. As a coach in the Somatic Activated Healing (SAH) MethodTM, it is essential to establish clear and conscious professional boundaries with your students, while keeping in mind the power dynamics and vulnerability that may arise during the healing process. It is important to approach coaching sessions from a trauma-informed perspective, and to remain mindful of any limitations in your role as a practitioner. In the event that a student requires professional support or assistance that falls outside of your scope of practice, it is your responsibility to pass them on to an appropriate professional. This ensures that your students receive the most effective and appropriate care, and that your professional boundaries and ethical obligations are upheld. By maintaining clear and conscious boundaries, practicing from a trauma-informed perspective, and knowing when to refer a student to another professional, you can provide a safe and effective environment for healing and growth within the framework of the SAH MethodTM.

  1. As a certified coach in the Somatic Activated Healing (SAH) MethodTM, you acknowledge that you will perform your work at your own risk, and that you are responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of yourself and others during coaching sessions. You agree to take all necessary precautions to prevent harm to your clients, and to act in accordance with best practices and ethical guidelines at all times. Furthermore, you agree to indemnify Sah D’Simone LLC and The SAH MethodTM, as well as any fellow SAH MethodTM certified teachers, against all loss, damages, expense, and liability that may arise from your coaching activities. This includes any claims, suits, or legal actions brought against you or the SAH MethodTM as a result of your work. By acknowledging your responsibility to perform your work safely and ethically, and by indemnifying the SAH MethodTM and its associated parties against potential losses and liabilities, you can help to ensure that the SAH MethodTM remains a safe and effective healing modality for all clients and practitioners.

I agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement.
